MALFUNCTION!!!

High performance parachutes have a way of making events that used to be midly annoying now a bit more of an issue.

On this jump I experienced line-twists. Being off-center in the harness started the spin and I deemed it unrecoverable before reaching a dangerously low altitude.

So what happens then? You cutaway! Release the main parachute - return to freefall - and deploy your reserve parachute.

It was the third time I had to do this in almost 5,000 jumps.
