Two Perspectives On 4-Way Four-way video is shot for the judges. The camera-flyer cannot gain points for the team, but they can lose points simply by getting a grip out of frame, shooting too shallow and losing a grip behind a leg. Or anything else that interferes with a clean view of the formation and grips. This kind of video work requires the camera-flyer to basically stay still in relation to the formation. As though they are on a tripod. Oddly enough, this can require more percise flying than zooming around the sky. Chris Golden was the camera-flyer who followed to give me my screen time. |
