100 Jumps In A Day On July 18th 2009 Cory Hanna made 100 jumps in about 14 hours as a benefit event for the suicide prevention organization, SAVE. It took a lot of work by a lot of people. My job was to document the event. I dare say that I had the best job this day. I went along on 16 of the jumps with him. Following Cory around under canopy and during his short delays from 2,000 or 3,500 feet was a ball. Cory was a trooper. He was tired, but continued on with a smile. Even breaking the old MN record of 61 jumps in a day with the holder of that record, Tom Decorsy. Jumping with him on Cory's 61st jump of the day. |
